This dog was outside, rain or shine, in the freezing temperatures with no shelter, no food, a bucket to catch rain water, and n<span class="text_exposed_show">o place to use the bathroom. It was in a small area with nothing but concrete. It broke her heart, as well as mine. We could not sit back, knowing what this dog was going through, and do nothing. So, with the help of my good friends Jessica and Candi, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Legally, there wasn&#8217;t much we could do&#8230;.however, we did what we could. We got the dog a igloo doghouse, blankets, food, water bowl, as well as toys and treats. We left the gifts anonymously with a note simply saying &#8220;Happy Holidays from dog lovers.&#8221; I am thrilled to report the gifts were received with open arms. &#8220;Goldie&#8221; received a bath, had all her matted hair trimmed off, her house set up and treats given to her. Sometimes people just need a helping hand. They need to know that someone cares. We have all been down on our luck. Thankfully, I have amazing friends who care about animals, and people for that matter, as much as I do.
